Fuji Television was founded in 1957 in Tokyo. For more than half a century, this media enterprise has continued expanding its businesses including radio stations, magazines, newspapers, and record labels. We have created countless hit TV shows well known by every Japanese and also overseas such as “Tokyo Love story” and “The 101st proposal”, both especially known in Asian countries. “Iron Chef,” still a widely popular show in the United States, was a hit content created by Fuji Television. “Bayside Shakedown”, which started as drama series then developed to 7 film series, and “Shoplifters,” which won the Palme d’Or was also produced by Fuji Television.
